Future Event Details
- Kate's Gathering will be on February 9th at 7:00pm at the Uptown Park Cafe Express! Come out and help us show Kate what a strong, supportive Houston secular community we have! Check out our blog at www.secularcenterusa.blogspot.com to learn more about Kate, and if you can, please consider making a donation to Kate and her family through our 'Donate' page. Make sure you specify that your donation is for Kate in the 'comments' box!
- We are hosting Darrel Ray, the author of "The God Virus", on February 19th! The cost is $10 if you RSVP ahead of time and $15 at the door, if there are any spaces left. Space is limited to 50 people. The event is at a local Planned Parenthood facility. For location details, please e-mail us to RSVP and include the full names of all people attending.
- On June 26th (Saturday) we will be at the Houston Pride festival from 1:00-7:00 and then in the parade that evening! E-mail us if you'd like to participate!
- We are talking with Humanists of Houston about partnering for a bake sale to raise funds for the SECULAR Center's activities and programs. Donations will be used to print materials to grow support for our organization as well as toward implementing our own volunteer programs and activities. Please e-mail us at secularcenterusa@gmail.com if you're interested in donating a baked dessert! You can also donate directly to us on our website!

Future volunteer opportunities being considered are Adopt-a-Highway, Food Bank Drives/Food Serving Kitchen Help, Nursing Home/Hospital Activities, and Tutoring Students.
